Colours of Islam

Colours of Islam is aimed at making Eid a special occasion for sick children in the UK.

The main aims and objectives are:
 

• To present Islam as a giving religion and thus improve its stature amongst the communities


• Increase the status of children


• Inform how Islam views the ill


• Promote the meaning of Eid


• To help terminally ill children realise their dreams/wishes

Our ultimate desire is to put a smile on these sick childrens' faces and it is also a great opportunity for Muslims to reflect the true colours of their faith within their local surroundings.

We are currently working with NHS Yorkhill Hospital for Sick Children in relation to Eid and have managed to raise a substantial amount in relation to our target to ensure each ward and individual child within the wards receives a present on the occasion of Eid.
